Privacy

This page covers the Comet website. The Comet app has its own privacy policy, which explains how the app handles your data: read the app’s privacy policy.

What this website collects

You can read every page without an account, and there are no forms to fill in. We don’t sell data, and the site shows no ads.

Analytics

This site does not use analytics.

Hosting and server logs

The servers that deliver these pages see your IP address and browser details, as every website’s servers do, and may keep them in logs for a short time to keep the site secure and working.

Google Play badges

The “Get it on Google Play” badges are loaded from Google’s servers, so Google receives the same basic request details as for any image. Tapping one takes you to Google Play, where Google’s privacy policy applies.

Settings kept in your browser

If you pause the background motion, the site remembers that choice in your browser’s local storage. Nothing else is stored.

Your Comet account

To delete the account you use in the Comet app, follow the steps on this page.
